Has anyone any experience of the twin Staintune exhaust system for the F650GS? I see it takes the original heat shields which I imagine I'll need as I use the BMW panniers.

Any thoughts appreciated.

Jeremy,

if you log on to Trevor G's 650 site, www.f650.co.uk and do a search, there is a report from a rider who has just fitted the staintune exhaust to her bike.

hope this helps

...........and certainly the single Staintune can be used with the BMW panniers and frames.
PM Bushboy (Casey) for details/performance/fitting tolerances etc if this is the Staintune you mean.

Thx for all the feedback, great references on the f650.com site. Just checking the single vs double pipe, they've not said it was a single pipe on their return emails.

Also waiting for Vines and Balderstons to rsvp with a quote for the twin Remus system.

I had a staintune on my Dakar. It was a single can. The one I had did not take the exhaust shields from the original cans. It also got very hot and would singe/burn/melt/heat up any panniers that touched it.
