Hi, a quick question if I may.
I'm installing a Starcom Digital, with a BKT-01 fixing bracket which "...allows the rider and passenger headset cables to plug into the bike mounted bracket". I'm planning to fix this above the main frame spar, just forward of the silencer mounting point, so that it will be between rider and pillion.
Is there a convention over which side of the bike this would be installed on? I usually approach and mount my bike from the left (facing forward) so would instinctively install it there. On the other hand this is the exhaust side and I can see the potential for a dropped headset cable to get melted on the silencer.
Thoughts / comments / observations / ideas / experiences welcomed....
