hi rember you were all tossers once

got rid of my fireblade (before it got rid of me ) about 6 months ago

can not hack it though NEED A BIKE its going to be a GS but wich one

bearing in mind she (who must not be named) is not allowing monies to divert from wedding funds (only ingaged 17 yrs) if only got a few grand to scrape

fancy 1150 but seem to only have ££ for 650 which stilll look kool

have not ridden seen a dakar 04 2600 looks good but still canot get head around mileage (29k) out to KNackers yard in sports land

also as bulked up 6fter will i look like vaneesa felps on a dt125
could setting up a christmas hamper club then faking a robery thus leaving anough for a puker 1200 be worth will time invested
please dont suggest trading in (who must not be named) etc she earns more drinks more and has more to gain!!

you might look a bit of a berk on a 650 but then you probably did on the Blade too

I'd opt for an 1150 but then I would say that

the dakar looks nice have seen a 850gs on ebay around that price

You'd pick up a lovely 1100 on here for that money.

And they are by far the best bike BMW made

To get the best out of it you could do with subscribing so you can PM folk and put a wanted ad on.

Seen some real beauties on here for right money.

Much cheaper/ better than ebay or other places.

I'm 6'2"............had a non-Dakar 650gs for a year and it was just toooooooo small for me - I was always sitting part on the pillion seat! Have a 1150gsa now.......happy days!

29k and out to the knackers yard

i've done 10k on my dak in 17 months, Not a thing has gone wrong, don't underestimate the 650's, they might not be as fast as the big uns but they are just as much fun

Hi there and welcome. I had a lovely 650gs but even at five foot 5 I felt it was a tad on the small size, see piccy below.
My hubby had a go or two on it while I rode his 1150 and I have to say he swamped it and he is only five foot 8 or 9 and of average build and said it felt tiny but to be fair he is used to riding his 1150.
A great fun bike but dont do as I did and buy one only to go back to the dealership and trade it for the 1150 or something else bigger, I now ride the 1150 and feel much better on it, have a good look about before you buy is all I can say
