Starter motor oil leak .....

Just had a new engine fitted to my '14 GS and ridden it home. There appears to be an oil leak from around where the starter mounts.
I seem to remember a thread about this and it being a different starter now, but can't find it. It's going back with no quibbles, but like to be "informed"

Hi mate,

I had the first new engine fitted a few months back when the dealer had fitted the original starter! Point is you need a new starter as well or it will leak. Lost my bike for almost a month while they sorted this out!

Disappointing to think that it may have happened again to some one else !

BMW UK are well aware that they have to do the starter or it leaks!
