Just for info of anyone with a Valeo D6ra55 or d6ra75 as fitted to a 1100 or 1150 looking online a company called www.woodauto.com sell spares with which to do a rebuild

If it's the teeth completely worn out, or coil burned out or magnets loose from their glue there's not much to rebuild.

Mostly it's just dirty from clutch wear and other dust. Just take it apart - clean and lube the pendix mechanism with grease and put back together - works like new again :)

When I ride gravel roads like I mostly do - I must do it almost every moth or two to keep it workin' as it's supposed to :)
