I bought a Streetpilot colourmap from the boards a couple of months ago and have worked out how to use the unit

However


I want to change the mapping on the unit from around the Birmingham. manchester area which was already on from previous owner to here down in the South East,London areas

How do I do it?

I only got one disc which I have loaded onto my computer it all seems gobidigook I have no manual that tells me how to load stuff from the disc to my Garmin card I have all the leads etc



Beginers help required or add a link to help me

if you go onto the Garmin website you can download the relevant manuals f.o.c to your PC. Normal map to GPS loading process is along the lines of

download the mapsource map viewing/routing ptrogram to your pc

select the map tool, select all the maps that you want, connect your gps to your pc via usb or serial cable, then select the send to GPS icon and use autodetect.........

If your disk is gobbledeygook, you may have been sold a pup as It should just install. along with the disks you should also have the unlock codes for any maps you got, without which you are struggling
