thank's go to the stash panel originator for a great idea.:thumb2

on a saturday a couple of months or so ago i was bored so i decided to have a go at making myself a stash panel using whatever materials i had at hand. during the fabrication i had an idea. as far as i could tell, to be able to load the space behind the panel the pannier had to be off and laid on it's side so i decided to make mine with a hinged flap to allow stashing with the pannier in position and vertical. so using a peice of hardboard, a length of piano hinge and some nuts and bolts i produced what is shown in the acompanying piccs. the lower retainer in the picc. is just a peice of springy steel i found in the garage.

just thought some peeps may be interested and decide to mod their own panels.

i managed to get all i needed through the gap on my last trip, and very useful it all was too.:D

appologies if this has already been covered but i did have a look through the posts and didn't come across anything.
