With all the weather hitting the more northerly climes, we should steel ourselves for an influx of refugees seeking a more benign climate.

Expect to see more flat-caps, whippets and bizarrely patterned broadcloth on the streets. Most will be easy to spot as they refuse cream-teas unless deep-fried.

I'm off to Buckfastleigh today to buy-up Buckfast wine. There are fortunes to be made.
