I received this note from Anne MacDonald, did not know Stephen but heard his name all the time as a guy who built up and supported the BMW club Ireland Section. Sad loss to the place.

Dear Members

Have just heard of the untimely death of Stephen Hutchings RIP, from a Club member tonight.

Many of you will have known Stephen who was a Club member for a long time, he served on the committee and was very well liked.

He worked hard for the Club and also helped Gary Finlay to organise the first Boreen Run.

He rode a R100GS (Bumble-Bee/Paris Dakar) type model, which he loved.

+1

Twas I who gave the news to Anne, the missus heard it at mass Saturday evening.
Havent seen Hutchie in a few years but he was around quite a bit when I rejoined the biking fraternity and the BMW club a dozen or so years ago. A really nice guy.

R.I.P.
