Steptoe Equivalent?

For the older Tossers amongst you, it's at RAF Honeybourne.
Just to the right of the South end of N/S runway..
Tally Ho Biggles !!!:rob:D:D

Are there any slots available with Steptoe on the 5th ?
Valve set up/throttle bodies and alternator belt.1150 GS.
Cheers.

Action plan......

9.00 am: Oilcan (1100GS)

10.00 am: Big Den (1100GS)

11.00 am: Lord Snooty (1150GS)

Midday: Grim Rider (1150GS)

2.00 pm: Bobble (1150GS)

3.00 pm: Mad Moose (1100S)

4.00 pm: Sgt Bilco (1100GS)

Change of bike.. taking the 1150 apart for a re-spray, so I'll take my 80 G/S instead for a genarel check over, carb balance, valves, besides, I thought I'd break up the monotony for Steptoe:augie

I'm also happy to help out with any fitting and spannering whilst Steppers gets on with the techie stuff :thumb

Hi Mike, if its ok I'll pop in and say hello and give you that charity money hat I keep meaning to send you!:(

Is it OK if I step in? 98 R1100GS with slight surging issue. Could I get throttle bodies balanced and rocker end float and valve clearances checked and adjusted if required (how do you tell :nenau ), please?

Roll up just after lunch and Neil will get you in. It's unlikely Bart will be able to make it so here is the latest running order:

9.00 am: Oilcan (1100GS)

10.00 am: Big Den (1100GS)

11.00 am: Wreck Diver (1100GS)

Midday: Grim Reaper (TBC)

2.00 pm: Bobble (Airhead)

3.00 pm: Ronnie69 (1150GSA)

4.00 pm: Mad Moose (1100S)

5.00 pm: Sgt Bilco (1100GS)

4.00 pm: Mad Moose (1100S)

5.00 pm: Sgt Bilco (1100GS)

Sweet - nice one, thanks :thumb2

BTW, just after lunch = 3pm ..... ? :eek :clap - can I have a job where you work? :D Joking aside :mmmm, should I rock up around 2pm ish? On the one hand, I don't want to freeze my kahunas off by turning up too early (and it's not like I'm much help with a spanner to busy myself assisting with other folks's jobs, thereby keeping myself warm, while I wait), but I also don't want to turn up too late and risk wasting Mr Steppers's (or anyone else's) time. I also have approx 2 hour run each way for extra chillyness! Brrrrrrr

Also, at the risk of pedantry, mine is an 1100GS, not 1150GSA :thumb2 Thought I'd best say in case it makes any odds :blagblah

Any issues/concerns, just post up here or PM me - at the risk of sounding like a big girl or :ymca, it is one of my missions in life to cause as little hassle as possible to others :angel :barf

Good effort setting this up :clap - hope the likes of me aren't making you regret it.

ronnie if time is pushing on i dont mind not having my bike looked over as i can pop it down to london in the spring so we should have time to have your bike looked over

Al, have a trundle down and I'm sure he'll have a chance to have a peek:thumb

Will there be diagnostic equipment available?
I'm not too fussed about a fix, if Neil can tell me what the problem is I can fix it myself later. Unless it needs tweaking with a special BMW computer or something like that.
