Does anyone have any of Steptoe's wonderful guides for oilhead maintenance perhaps saved as .pdf? Particularly interested in seeing the pics for FD and clutch maintenance...

Realise I'm a bit late to the party, only got hold of my 1150 3 years ago and trying to fix her up as a keeper...

I'll be sorting/re-hosting the old pictures soon and will get BHT to re-post them .. That's a lot of work/time involved finding them on my hard drive storage. Never realised I did so many "how to's" 😄

I'd have been lost without them

Saved me hundreds of groats over 3 years

Best send you a few beers then!

I too have benefitted. Was never a handyman to my bike before, even with a simple machine like XR650L. The resources here and at advrider and a few others have made me a different man. Wife is already wondering why so much time spent on this particular machine, my 1150GSA. So I'll give you my hug Steptoe.

I may have some of them saved on my other laptop, let me have your email addy and if I can find them I will send them on.

Cheers Snooty, sent you a PM :thumb2

Any chance we could persuade him to load them to a disc/discs, so we could buy them as a permanent record? I'd happily buy one.

I would be more than happy to purchase a disc, Steptoe has given more help to people over the years than anyone i've ever known, just like to say thanks. Have followed his guides many times. Cheers:beerjug:
