Sticking comms to Schuberth

Any feedback on sticking comms gear to helmets?

Always used clamp in past, looking to fasten Interphone F5MC to Schu E1.

Ideal place means mounting plate is not in full contact due to ridge in shell.

How good is the 3M?

Feel like I am worrying too much and should just slap it on? thoughts/piss takes/recommendations welcome.

I fixed a Sena 20s to my Schuberth C3 Pro. The clamp just did not work because of the shape of the shell where the Sena had to go. I too hesitantly used the sticky pads provided and, a year later, I have had not issues with it coming loose.
So my advice is to get sticking

have used the sticky pads supplied for over 6 years with different lids (All schuberth, c2, c3 and c3pro) no issues

Now fitted and going nowhere - as described - stick the bugger on!
