Stitching .mov files together?

I've got 8 short .mov files from our Moroccan trip that I'd like to stitch together to make one file. I don't need to do any more than that, no editing.

My laptop runs W2k so I don't have the most up to date Winplayer which I believe can do this.

Is there a simple free bit of software out there that can do this?

Windows movie maker would do it but I don't know if it'll run on W2k.
It's free though from the MS download site so it's worth a bash

Thanks Sugarcube, I've found a nice little free programme here that does it and also converts to other formats.

Only problem now is the file is too big to upload to YouTube
