HI Guys,

Need a bit of lateral thinking here, I have a customer who needs to implement some kind of stock control the business is similar to a Bakers LOL.

They mix various products together and make objects in molds out of concrete and then ship them all over the country via lorry. ie the analagy with a Baker (making loaves and shipping the to the varoius branches of TESCOS LOL) I suspect the concrete is more tasty!

So they are not a huge comany and need a cost effective stock control system any ideas?

They have piles of sand , cement, stones, and end up with those huge concrete barriers you see down the centre of roads while there are road works.

I keep going round in circles and ending up with Sage but.....

If they make barriers. I assume they're not interested in Access - I'll get my coat

Im with you Roger on this one. Microsoft may not be everyones (anyones?) cup of char, but Access has a stock control programme as one of the defaults IIRC? Why not give it a whirl?
