Strange "clicking" noise at 2000 rpms.

So if i start up bike cold with choke, then at 2000 rpms there's strange "clicking" noise from the engine, not that loud but adequate. If it warms up it's more silent, but still noticable. It happends only at very speciefic rpm range about 1800-2000rpms, all other rpms the engine sounds as it should. It's been quite a long time, but just curious - can it be camchain tensioner that needs replacing?

Mine made more of a loud booming/slapping noise & was more noticeable at tickover though.

Had a very similar problem, only made the noise on the first start of the day, when I set off, gave Williams a ring and spoke to Lee, he said that it could be a little corrosion in the fuel bodies, caused by condensation, when the bike is put away and left overnight, when it goes cold it draws moisture in the throttle bodies.
The cure is to slide the throttle bodies back and squirt some wd40 or similar in, and around the butterfly, when you replace the throttle body tubes careful to get the O ring in place as this can be the start to the problem.

Cured mine a treat, no noise and the throttle much smoother.

Might not be coming from the engine.. could be your knee joints
