Strata Florida (The Full Track)

We were out on sunday doing some more off roading
Checking out a few tracks for the Adventure rider weekend

We made a fair day of it and did loads of tracks

Gaz on his second outing on the 650X is still sorting it out

And whats this

The owner was too ashamed to be photographed with it to start with
Nice graphics

This will cause some fun on the big bikes
Even Gaz on the 650 was having fun

Made it in the end

The ( THUMPER ) owner goes for another go

Stll makes a pigs ear of it

But is so busy with the climb he reviels his identity

So on to the Strata Florida
It's still a bit wet

Where's the clay

Pleanty of water though

Gaz is improving all the time

He had a great day on the 650X as did Rob on the ( THUMPER )

We did loads of tracks but did not take that many pics...Rob will have a few more in a bit

And finaly a local track to me i thought i would ride on saturday
Big mistake i got well stuck and had to phone a friend to extract it

it's surprising how many tracks that you can ride when you're not wrestling with well over 200 kilos

just a few piccies

an early evening snack on the top section of the strata, it was about six in the evening, getting colder and the light was starting to fade,
it must be nearly winter

the HP2 saunters through the puddle

and the 650x, at a reasonable pace instead of the usual flat out in second which is the prefered attack mode of the pilot

a couple of hundred yards of slippery stream bed, it's not too bad on this kit but it's more of a challenge on the pigs

yet another crossing, this one is strewn with large boulders and care must be used

the last large crossing of the day, sorry it's a bit blurred but there wasn't enough light to take a decent picture

a great day out , we didn't take many piccies as we didn't have the time

That Xchallenge looks good 'out in the field'. Certainly better than it does in the showroom!
