street guard zip

the zip on my street guard 3 is starting to play up,i think the zip itself is fine but 1 side is pulling away or coming apart from the jacket and the zip is catching in it,

is there anyone on this island who can repair the zip with out affecting the waterproofing or who would you recommend

Not on this island I have leatherguard trousers destroyed by someone putting in a zip the are now a expensive sieve. Try zipyard but make sure they can afford to buy you a new jacket if they fuck your one up. JJH

Remember if it's under two years old then it's covered by the warranty. I believe the zip on the SG3 has been problematic so your dealer may look favourably on a claim.

Trying to avoid sending it across the water but would prefer that than lose the water proofing
It's outside warranty but might try a dealer anyway

Lancashire sport repairs are a gore tex approved repair centre Frank. I have used them in the past, excellent work.

Plus 1 for Lancashire Sports - but phone them and talk through the issue first. I can't remember whether they guarantee the waterproofing or not. They changed a zip in Trailguard for me and did a cracking job.
