Stupid bloody laptop screen. Black and White!

So what's happened?

I'm running Vista 64bit. The screen was fine yesterday but now boots in black and bloody white. I've tried shouting that it's not the fecking 50's but to no avail.

What's on the check list?

I'm afraid not. It's now booting in colour, then turning black and white as soon as it's loaded. I'm assuming a graphics driver problem so I'm going to try re-installing it. if that doesn't work I'll see if dropping the laptop out of a moving vehicle and running back and forth over it a few times helps. Not that I'm pissed off with it.

Are you in blind mode? - try (Shift+Alt+PrtScrn) to see if it reverts.

You see, that's why I said I'd shouted that it's not the bloody 50's.....because someone would say something like this. My wife beat you to it though.

But I'm a software genius and have fixed it. Re-installing the graphics driver did the job. If anyone else needs any technical help please feel free to pay me lots before asking me for my help.

Off topic but my Dad is registered blind and gets his TV licence either discounted or free (cant remember which) Thats a lot of use to him!!!
