I can reliably inform the community that fork seals will leak immediately if you put them in the wrong way up.

yup scraper seals only work one way up.
numbers are usually at the top of seal for reference ,of what way up to fit em.

if ye dont cock up , how else are ye gona learn.

They do make an efficient pump the wrong way up dont they you re definitely not the first.
