Sturgis 2023 in full flow

It's a beautiful area but not during the rally. We rode through on once during the rally on the way back from somewhere west on I-80 and unless you like being around a lot of people and noise, and riding in congestion, it's best avoided. Thousands love it though and I hope they have fun.

Always watch Sturgis & Daytona by various YouTubers.
Looks a bit wet out there this year.

Just watching the last of the light night crew leaving the bars

Looking a bit windy in that there Sturgis.
2.26am and not a soul to be seen!
I guess all those dentists & solicitors must head back to the RV Park where the rig is setup?

Some very nice ones there are too.

I'm sure there are!
Was watching in the heat of their afternoon yesterday, and did ponder the question "what's the point in it all"?
Just a lot of fancy dress and posing of shiny, expensive hardware.
A bit like Glasto, it seems to have been taken over by middle aged professionals looking for a purpose in life.

Not knocking Sturgis as it has appealed since reading about it in a bike mag 30 odd years ago.
It just looks like the heart & soul has been ripped out in the last decade or so.

A mate of mine went last year - bucket list trip… he came back disappointed…stating over commercialised crap..

Budweiser being totally snubbed by customers at Sturgis.
Even packed up a day early due to NO customers.

Go woke, go broke!

It's one thing to have your pavilion/tent there, and then people coming up to challenge your product or, issues. It's another thing all together when it gets completely ignored.

I agree, that's a very powerful statement. And it's not just ignored by some... that's proper people power.

I think Busch making a quick U-Turn and marketing the brand with the old Clydesdale horses and Harley Davidson on the cans just pissed folk off more.
Just shows their arrogance and contempt for the loyal American people.
The fact that the patriotic Yanks have now made a Mexican beer the number 1 seller tells me that Budweiser are finished in the domestic market.

Go woke, go broke!

I think you're right bod. If AB wished to win back some of the customers they lost, they should have *immediately fired* those that made the decision that cost the shareholders money and many workers their jobs. Then show up at Sturgis with scantily clad girls selling Budweiser at cost.

Reactions: bod
As much as it saddens me that hundreds have lost their jobs over this, I hope its a clear message to the big corporates that not only the blue collared man, but the population as a whole including women, have had enough of all this trans gender bullshit.
Good on you America ... I'm proud of you!

Hell for all I know it might be here too now. Other than a tyre a few weeks back when traveling I haven't had a dealer do anything for quite a while.
