I do like that
👍👍

Edit
I’ve just seen the profile view.

That blank see through side totally ruins the subtlety of the job. Nope that rear half is a dogs dinner. Shame.

Subtle and understated are pretty synonymous, really.

I'm wondering about a potential imbalance between that nicely rigid front fork and the old gummikuh frame...

Needs side panels and proper mudguards, and probably comprehensive frame bracing......

Agree with Oldrat and Micky.
Also: love the radial brakes, but they might be a (scary) overkill on a R100...

Wouldn't mind something like that for shorter errands. Cannot justify another bike though :D

The busy chunky front end turns to zilch and nuffin at the rear. Just a couple of triangular side panels under the seat, to fill that void, would make a world of difference :rob

But then what do I know :blast

:beerjug:
Wot he said^^^. A brace of those stainless sidepanels would finish it off nicely.

I'd go for side panels too.

Also, I can't really tell because of the presentation of the bike in the picture, but I'd want the seat to be parallel with the ground too.

my 2p .
dual seat but no pillion pegs .
seat too old , next to fancy rear shocks
no rear mudguard , or side panels .
why do you need a seat lock ?

I’m with some others on here…. Needs side panels, a rear mudguard, a better front mudguard, and lose the pillion grab rail from the back of the seat.
Then deliver it to my garage please

That's a nice looking bike but I wonder how long the rear subframe will last, it looks like someone didn't think any bracing would be a good idea. Which in turn makes me wonder how much else if style over design.

I like the black one. The old seat has something going for it. Side panels, maybe. It's just under the front of the seat that looks weird. Seat lock and misc other standard bracket bits want chopping off.

The line of chrome should extend along the front of the seat to the tank. The seat base at the front having some more meat in side profile.

The blue one also remains true to airhead style.

Dual seat and no rear pegs should be a MOT fail. Lads on the KR1s forum used to remove the rear pegs to allow fitting a sleeker exhaust hanger. Failed Mot every time.
