Hi,
I've used the search and did read quite a bit in this section without finding an answer.

Here my situation:
My wife and I have C2 helmets. When we bought those we did not think of communication unfortunately :( and it turns out that the C2 does not seem to be the easiest helmet when it comes to fitting of a com-system.
Now that my wife (without MC experience until then) found out that she does very much enjoy to join me on day- or weekend trips, we are are looking for a simple driver to passenger (and the opposite way :augie) communication that fits the C2.
Preferably wireless
No connection to phone, GPS or MP3 needed. Even one speaker per helmet would be ok

I am aware of Schuberths own system which comes available shortly and believe it is good....but too expensive for our needs :nenau:(

Any suggestions are appreciated.

Thanks in advance
Joerg

the c2 is a good helmet....but fitting any system into it requires torx keys, so better if you get a dealer to do the fitting for you.
autocom systems do mean you can expand usage if you do discover later that you might enjoy music on the move....personally never wanted to use a phone on the bike, in my view its daft to do so; and bike is to escape from all that anyway!
altho the c2 is quite quiet, helmet mounted speakers are an issue for me.
I prefer in ear "monitors" which reduce outside noise without affecting quality of the sound you want to hear ("her indoors!")
Speakers are a pain because they do need to be fitted into the foam lining, and altho the c2 has cutouts, comfort is dependant on how they press onto your ears and careful positioning is need to get the best out of them, which may not be compatible with comfort.
in addition often people have to use earplugs to cut back on wind noise, so reducing how good you can hear the speakers....never makes sense to me!
so,
autocom with in ear monitors...
altho the company went into admin around the turn of the year, it has been bought now and is offering all the ususal stuff, some of which seems to be wireless...up to a point.
might be worth a look at the website and see if you have a handy local agent to talk it through with.

Or
you could just shout at each other....the old fashioned system!:D

Another vote ...

... for the Cardo Scala bluetooth headsets; good clarity up to 3/400m :thumb
