Hi guys,
Just got a weeks holiday next week at short notice, going jumping on the bike with the missus and heading somewhere, but where ?.
I would really like to head somewhere ,where the weather is a bit better, nothing promised too good for ireland next week really, at this early stage anyhow.
Not afraid of having a few hard days in the saddle doin a bit of milage if needs be.
I know a week isnt long, but not looking for a relaxing holiday.
Thanks for any suggestions lads.

Ferry - Belfast/Stranraer then turn left - west coast of Scotland up to Durness (Can give you some classic's en-route) then make your way south through The Lakes, Yorkshire Dales, head back west towards Holyhead for Dublin/Dun Laghoire and that's your week done:thumb

tip - bring £££'s - you'll need 'em!

Good luck!

We had 2 weeks in Europe last year:roll. We went from Dover to Dunkerque. We travelled to Germany and France too but the best bits if I had a week would be up to Amsterdam, Bruges, Luxembourg and Ypres.

We camped in Bruges and it was great to head into the town on the bikes and around the town. We also camped in the heart of Paris and again headed around the city on the bikes, so easy for parking:D

We went to Paschendale(sp?) while in Ypres and also went into the museums in the town.
I wouldn't be big on history and wars and stuff but it was really really interesting, and sad:(

We're heading over to Uk on Tue morn, going to Holyhead, over through Yorkshire then south to Essex to visit Kev's Mom, then down to the south coast and around Cornwall, Devon, back up to Pembroke and back to Rosslare.

There's loads to see and do in Uk and it's cheap as chips:thumb
