Touratech or BMW Tank bag

Was just about to ask, Touratech or BMW Tank bag and came across this Thread ---ideal.

I seem to remember someone saying to me last year that they prefered the Touratech, as it was not so big as the BMW bag and did not get in the way . Could someone make a comment on this please.

I like the GS Quick Lock from SW Motech, and if you want to run your satnav or phone out of the tank bag they have a very nice electric version.
Also the taking off the bag is so easy, good for the photography equipment, nothing has to stay behind during a coffee break.

Can you show us some pics of this bag inside and out, I have been trying to find some info about these but there isn't much about ??

You will find most of the information here. The bag inside is clad in red nylon so that its easier to find things rather than the usual "black hole". Mounted on the tank, the whole bag sort of floats atop of the tank, as it is only connected on the tank ring, the rest is in the air.
For the 2008 onward GS with no screws in the tank filler, there is a redesigned connector version available. In order to avoid the large cable to be visible, you can route it in between filler cover and tank cover, so that no cable is seen. Its nice but you need to cut a gap into the tank/filler cover.
