yes europe heat to contend with, no does not have to be waterproof, vented and textile. most colours considered but NOT PINK hate pink. LOL

I just got one of these - RST Adventure Jacket (in black, of course - still too young for beige!). Having ditched the quilted liner I have left the water/wind-proof liner in - if we ever actually get any summer it'll get stuffed in a pannier. The thing has vents all over with good mesh underneath. May not be up to Morrocco standards but should be pretty comfortable for anything we get round here! However, they don't seem to do this particular model in Ladies' sizes/styles - so I've probably just wasted my time typing this and your time reading it! Sorry!

I was going to say RST Adventure as well, till I looked in the catalog and saw that they don't do ladies version.

Mine's silver, so even more heat reflective.

I've had one of these for a few years. Brilliant on a scorching day, it comes with a zip in waterproof lining. I'm in Eastleigh, if you want to have a look.
