Mrs Poley and I are currently touring in the Pyrenees/Picos having ridden down through France. I just thought I'd post a link to a short Facebook video to show that the weather isn't always kind, so best to come prepared. (Hope the FB link works)
It was actually one of the most exciting days' riding we have yet had on our annual holidays - even Mrs P was laughing about it, and she's not the most experienced rider. I'm not sure we'd have enjoyed it so much if we'd been on our old bikes though - we previously had a VFR750 and an SV650 respectively - hard work on the hairpins. This is our second year touring when we both have a GS, so we've been searching out some of the smaller roads and passes. There have been some amazing roads, here and in the Auvergne, but the video will have to wait until I can get back to some video editing software.
