Anyone know of any other companys who produce these other than touratech? Its called a sump guard in the touratech catalogue and bolts to the mainstand but I think its more likely to guard the catalytic converter or y piece. Does Vern make one? How much do these things cost? Anyone got one and do they do a good job?

Although I can't remember how much I paid at the time, the Touratech Item currently costs £33 and it does the job perfectly (I have heard stones bouncing off it and seen the marks on the alloy plate).
I prefer it to the (perforated) Wunderliech item and it took a grand total of about 10-minutes to fit. I must admit I replaced the fixings for SS items as I prefer these and keep a large stock to hand. The centre stand takes a fraction longer to retract (increased weight & drag) but it has never failed to return to the correct position.

I have just taken a touratech one off ny 1100 as i don't need it.

Available to a new home for £20 + postage. It is not clean at present and will try a quick wash before posting.
