Hello men (and women)
just went out to the garage to change the oil on my 1150 gsa 04, removed sump guard and noticed the sump plug is a hex fitting rather than a good old fasioned bolt. Before I rush off to halfords can anyone tell me the size of hex socket I need to buy to fit my wrench.
Thank you, all knowing ones.

8mm ALLEN :thumb2 (on my antique anyway)

my local Halfords have always been happy for me to 'try out' to make sure - just means asking them and leaving my helmet/gloves at the till....

I'd buy a set of all the standard sizes if i were you- most of the fastenings on a GS are allen bolts.
And thats metric size, not whitworth or AF. :D
