Sunnies or goggles

I like riding with my visor up all the time and wear just regular sunnies to keep flies and dust out of my eyes...I'm kinda leaning towards goggles for a bit more protection and dont want to look like a MX rider on a GS ... is there an in between
from sunnies to full mx goggles ... shatter proof, tinted, maybe polarised more sunnies than goggles ??

I use my prescription reactolite glasses for general riding, but when off road I have some prescription safety glasses so I can be confident, visor up, that nothing can shatter glass into my eyes.

If you don't need prescription lenses, try looking at safety glasses, they do them in all sorts of differing tints.

i never thought of safety glasses ... I don't need prescription lenses, just the age problem of my arms shrinking interfering with my reading ability,
I'll have a squint at some safety's ... thanks

Wiley X do ballistic grade sunglass lenses in all sorts of flavours. Some even have a dust seal on the inside so perfect for bike use.

i use Oakley Radarlock with interchangeable vented lenses that don't steam up, a darker lens for the full sun, and a yellow / orange tint for darker days.

I use a pair of Oakley Standard Issue Ballistic M frames. They have all the US safety and conformance ratings for industrial/military/shooting so offer quite a bit of protection. I really like that the lens wraps around nicely and almost fills across the eyeport in my EXO-1100. They fit close and are designed to be worn with various headgear. I got them as a gift set with clear/smoke/amber lenses, but also come with just 1 lens and the option to upgrade later. They are a bit pricey, but eye protection is worth it in my opinion. I've had great luck with them and only had 1 issue in 5 years that ended up just needing a replacement nose piece.
