Rode to Lake Brianne via the Abergwesyn Pass yesterday, superb:
Probably only saw 2 other bikes in 2 hours.
Carried on to Teragon and the mountain road to Élan Valley, what a contrast there must have been a 100 bikes in a hour round the dams.

Abergwesyn road is great, I'm heading up there this weekend-among many other single track and back roads.
No surprise at the number of bikes around Elan Valley it seems to me many bikers lack the imagination to go anywhere other than "popular bikers roads" mate
Cafe in Tregaron? Has to be. Used to be one down from the monument, went quiet when you walked in. Haven't been for years! As its on my doorstep as is always the case no! There is a cracking forest Cafe in the woods as head out of Abergwesyn and into to the open bit. (Where it pinches in by a bridge, it is signed posted)
