Super Pro Avi problems

Hi all....

I'm having some issues with my Kit 300 and hoping the brains here and give me some advice. I'm also using the Ultimate Ear monitors with the associated autocom lead.

Basically I seem to have lost my GPS and Music audio to the riders headset. I did try moving the lead connection around a bit and that seemed to work for a short while. Now I've tried reconnecting & disconnecting (and wiggling about) the lower connection and I'm getting noting now.

Funny thing is that when I talk into the microphone I get the voice fed back to the ear plugs.

The pillion audio seems fine.

So it seems to me that the riders lead coming from the autocom is knackered, or at least the connection is. Can this be fixed?

1) Where the GPs instructions are coming from
2) Where the music is coming from
3) What cables you are using to connect the varius devices together

1) GPS instructions coming from a Zumo through part 1299 into Aux 4
2) Music coming from iPod through an AmpliRider which is then connected to Aux 3
3) GPS -> Autocom part 1299, Amplirider -> Autocom 3.5mm lead

Just to let you know the Part 1299 is designed for rthe AUX2 socket on your Super Pro NOT the AUX4 socket.

So are you saying that you have lost music into both the AUX2 and 3 sockets?

OK, I ran the 1299 into Aux 4 to 50% mute Aux 2 and Aux 3 as per http://www.autocom.co.uk/pdf/Kit 300 Instructions.pdf. I'm not using the phone functionality of 1299 and only have it there in case it offers some isolation to the Zumo audio.

I'm using the bluetooth dongle for the phone.

I'm pretty sure the issue is with the lead from the Autocom to where the rider plugs into as the pillion audio is fine.

Now I just ran a test a minute ago and the riders audio is perfect again. I went for a ride yesterday and the audio was perfect. I stopped, got off the bike (& unplugged) for a while and then plugged the rider headset back in and absolutly no GPS audio (or music from the Zumo) but I could talk into my own microphone and hear it back in the headset. I didn't have the iPod on that ride.
