1150 GSA traded yesterday, pick up my new white s10 on thursday, cant wait!

Really starting to bond with the s10 now, engine is a corker compared to my 1150adv, seat is too hard for me but i suppose it'll break in a bit. Great bit of kit.![]()
I bought the bike with the Givi Air Flow and winglets fitted as part of the deal, so I can't comment on how effective one is without the other.
The crash bars are Givi as well. I chose these because both side panels can be removed without taking the bars off. Also the dealer had a set fitted to one of his bikes in the showroom......
Here's a piccy from the side.

Yep that was me heading home, what did you think of the bike

That white is stunning, thinking of buying new if I can get a good enough deal just so I can have a white one, but would not want to pay anywhere near full whack seeing as two year old private sales are down at about £7.5k.
Was taken aback quite how good it was, just so balanced.
First off pulled away off camber and into a u-turn, bike seemed lighter than my 660 Ten and so much easier to control. No need for feet down at junctions, just trickle along without a wobble - really flattered my riding
It was brand new with 200 miles on the clock (I was 4th test ride today) so didn't rev her but it picked up speed very quickly holding a steady 50-60 at 2-3k revs. Easy to pick off one or two cars without changing down a gear too, no huge benefit in dropping gears - just roll on
Was surprised how quickly it changed direction with a press on the bars at 50mph when on paper it 's a heavy old bike, it's deceptively agile and gives loads of confidence through bends. Reminded me of my old Multistrada the way it seemed to go where you thought if that makes sense
Overall I was very impressed, was in white too which I suspect is fastest
Got offered £600 over book on mine too and 4.9% over 3 years - tempted
ps. Yours looked good![]()
dealer informed me there were no more new white ones available from yamaha uk this year just grey or black, may be true may may notThat white is stunning, thinking of buying new if I can get a good enough deal just so I can have a white one, but would not want to pay anywhere near full whack seeing as two year old private sales are down at about £7.5k.
