Suspension

Can someone advise me.
How can I tell if my front suspension is set for road use.
I have read the BMW small book with it's picture, and check, but the real thing does not come with A= road or B= off road setting,
can you in the know help????.

depending on the year of your bike, to how many notches you have on the front shock.
Mine has 9 and is set to the stock road setting of 3 notches

Settings1-9
3rd stage - metalled roads
5th stage - loose gravel
9th stage - off road

And if you actually read the manual it says
NOTE:
stage 1:
Turn all the way in the direction indicated by A (in the picture)
stage 9:
Turn all the way in the direction indicated by B (in the picture)
