from sad and sorry looking.. the little DR is starting to look a little better these days..
this was her to start with... a field bike for a few years.. then dumped in a warehouse..
the tank was like an onion
so time to strip... sandblast... and powdercoat
little bit of glass bead polishing
time to take the old spokes off... this involved a load of swearing..
prep and paint all the parts... using simoniz tough black.. and laquer
I wanted to use as many original parts as possible.. so time to do some bodywork
many cleaning hours (months) later...time to reassemble...
wheels back from being re-spoked.. and add on new exhaust.
few bits left to do.. but now she is looking like a real bike again

Too expensive to get straightened, but luckily came across a frame with v5 (had no V5 for my original). So I now have that. With Xmas coming it's all on hold until I get paid in Jan .. then will get it all stripped and will get frame, swingarm etc blasted and painted.
