In the process of doing this but thought I would post in case anyone has to go through the same ...
SVA can be waived if the Bike comes from the EU, and you have a certificate of conformity from the manufacturer.
If not, for an SVA test, they measure emissions but are not bothered about the end can. And they only bike they have ever failed on this was an Enfield .....
The speedo have to read in MPH - and an over-lay is not acceptable. However they don't test the accuracy of the speedo (but they do on cars) so if you change the "K" for an "M" it will pass... allegedy
But a new speedo is only 95 quid from BMW.
Headlight has to dip to left or dip flat .... and a new headlight is 167 quid
