Hi All

I have a dilema (nothing new there then) at the moment i have the system panniers on my 1150gs and as we all know they are next to useless and i am thinking about getting some larger ones the problem is i also need to use my system ones as one of the jobs i do we are not allowed to use metal panniers apparently the riders don't like them so i was wondering if there was a quick solution and i think that the sw motech panniers might be the answer as the fixing rack only takes seconds to add and take away

now is there anyone out there who has used these before or can anyone suggest any other way around this

thanks in advance

what about GOBIs? Plastic, big, box like...

not used them meself mind...

Ive had the trax luggage before. Excellent peices of kit. I wished I hadnt sold them with the bike.

I had one of the early batches which had a fault with the sealant strip on the top moving and allowing water in, but theyve since rectified the problem.

I had black ones but i wouldnt go for those again as it showed up any scratches quite badly!

They wont survive a crash too well i dont think. but are strong enough. I had about 30 kilos in each side with no problems.

Good thing about the sw motech rack is that you can fit pretty much any panniers to them with the right kit.

Let me know if you want to go down that route, i have some left over bits that would save you some money if you order them. Namely the quick locks and the adaptor kit for the trax set. Both brand new.
