Swapping BMW Bluetooth Comms System from one helmet to another

I cannot believe this is too difficult but when I asked BMW Battersea this Question they told me that I needed to buy a new helmet Keypad (at £60). When I asked them how to remove the old one off the helmet I got a blank look.
Anyone done this please?
Apart of course from needing a new section of double-sided adhesive pad (That I am reliable informed costs really quite a bit less than £60!) I cannot see what is so impossible about this
