Hi,

I'm swapping my GSA LC for a new R1200RS Iconic next Tuesday and I can't wait:thumb2

The GSA was my third one to date and after a Summer of Spanish Pico's and Bavarian mountains I decided I'm strictly a road rider/tourer so an RS fits the bill:bounce1

I've been given a great deal to change by the dealer so here goes..........wish me luck:clap

Regards, Al

Good luck?:thumb

I had an RS for a few hours recently, and couldn't get on with the riding position, the GS/ GSA feels more natural for me. It was a cracking bike, other than that.:beerjug:

I recently bought a 1200R LC and after 10 years on a GS and it does feel small initially but is in fact just 'normal'. Any road (as opposed to trail/adventure) bike is going to feel small/different after 10 years on a GS. After 3 months the R now feels normal and the GS (which I still have) feels lofty. I like riding both.

Good luck with your RS, they look great. I will soon be selling some 'as new' bits off my R that will fit your RS so keep an eye out for the ad. I'll post a link in this section when I get it together (Givi pannier system with quick release rails, Motech engine bars, Givi screen and spoiler, hand guards)

How has it worked out so far?

Are you pleased with your choice?

I've had a GSA and now ride a S1000R Sport. The RS is a tempting next bike.

Yes please

I would be interested in the pannier racks
I have had my RS for a year and 6000 miles.
I am very pleased with it and happy that it is physically smaller than the GS.
No problems at all, it's been a joy to own.
Just need some panniers for my intended Europe tour in 2017!.
1st dibs if possible

Hey enjoy the RS , after two GS LCs i have just run an RS SE Sport for six months! A fab bike all round but Im going back to the GS and taking delivery of a new TB tomorrow! Ideally would have both .... ;)

having heard so many positive things about the RS I was disappointed that I couldn't get on with the riding position, hope it fits you.
