SWB R75 in Wivey

Chatting to the chap on this bike a few minutes ago. Owned by his dad up to 12'000 miles, a BMW demonstrator that featured in many of the press reviews and magazines of the day. Was parked up for years and the sidestand rotted through but luckily the bike then just tipped slightly and rested the handlebar against the wall. This chap then took ownership, the miles now read 41'000 and today is it's first outing in 10 years. He popped some petrol in it, gave it 20 kicks and it's having a day out on Exmoor where it now lives.

and also just a bit disgraceful....should be a missing zero at least in that mileage! Too much time spent chatting on sunny days me thinks that's almost power-ranger mileage
