Hi guys, just wondered if any of you have one of these and is it worth the investment as I would be paying over the odds because of import duties and tax. The only problem I've seen is one guy had the base split in two but it was still usable. Bike is a KTM 500 exc f. Any thoughts?

I get on fine with the oem KTM stand on my 350 EXC-F

What problems are you having ?

Sorry, I read it wrong. :blast I'd like to have the option to put the stand down and not look for the best place if you know what I mean. It's just too long and a shorter one would have it leaning too much.

I generally look to where I am parking up (to open a gate or take a pic) before I stop and rarely have to amend this
If I do - the bikes are so light at 106kg then it’s not much drama to move it
KTM exc stands are notoriously fragile - so I am pretty careful with it - definite no-no to get on and off the bike with it deployed

It's the height of the bike really. I have read that it's the earlier models that had a problem with fragile stands?

I don’t think any of the EXC stands are risk free and the design doesn’t seem to have changed much

Does yours auto fold up ?

If there is nowhere suitable I just lean the bike (via a handguard) against a nearby tree/fence post/gate post/stone wall

rtwpaul seems to love his Swiftkicker and others too. Just a shame know one in the UK makes them.

Ok, I bought the Swiftkicker stand and it's a great piece of kit, very robust. Yesterday was the first chance I've had to test it.
Absolut game changer for me. I can put it down anywhere I want to now without any issues.
The only downside is the cost. £300 delivered.
