Swingarm bearing tightening

Hi all
Can anyone let me borrow one of those 30mm modified sockets and 12mm bars for tightening the lock nut on the left hand swingarm bearing.It would be much appreciated.

You can do it without that tool. I think there's a how-to written by Steptoe somewhere on the 11xx forum.

I set the correct torque on the adjuster, marked its position with tipp-ex and then slowly torqued up the locknut checking for alignment/movement. No need for the fancy tool shown in the BMW reprom.

I bought mine from the "Toolbox" off the net, complete with the Allen key thingy
wotsit. I think it was twelve £'s. If you are passing Holywell you can lend it.
