hi all,i wonder if it would be possible for you good people who live in the swiss alps to keep us updated with the weather conditions this week,as we are planning to tour around andermatt and to the east leaving the uk on the 10th june,me may have to change our plans if the passes are closed and perhaps head into italy instead.thanks mike

Not looking too good I'm afraid.

Indeed not, weather has been ludicrously hot in C. Europe the past 4-6 weeks, but now has turned cool and wet.

I'd be thinking of a change of venue and I most defiantly wouldn't be looking for altitude.

Thought of Corsica?

Mixed weather forecast for next week. if it was me i would go for it anyway... if the weather is crap italy is only a few hours away.

check out the motorail train from kandersteg CH to isille in italy, saves a few hours on the road.

going direct is 90 chf for a bike but if u go from kandersteg to goppenstein, then ride to brigg the cost is about 45 chf.
