Swopping 1100 cams for 1150 cams

Hi all.

I currently have a post in the wanted section for a camshaft to fit a 98' GS1100.

I have been offered a mint set of cams and followers from an 1150 and have been assured that they will fit and get more ooomph

Will they be a direct swop with no modification required etc and what are the benefits

Cam swop

Went ahead and done the deal for the 1150 cams

Mototech of this parish has fitted them and I have to say that it feels like riding a completely different bike.

There does seem to be more oomph with a smooth power delivery.

We will wait and see if how the fuel consumption compares over time
