Just thought you might like to know that I have successfully paired my 2 helmets to each other, and TTRider sat nav ,also connected phone to ttrider, and that also works via the helmets, also receiving updates on road hold up etc in real time via the phone.
Hope this may be of interest.

Good to know it all works with the TomTom Rider as I am thinking of buying one myself. Slightly off topic, how do you find the helmet to helmet works? On a 1200GS, standard screen, I find the pillion can't hear me for background (wind) noise at anything above 55-60. I can hear her saying 'I can't hear you' etc - a bit disappointing I think.

Swinglow - please tell us more!
How well does it work?
What sort of battery life do you get out of the BT helmet?
What's the noise like?
Do the gadgets need overriding? I.e does the TT override your pillion etc.. :)
Am I right in assuming that the BT helmet doesn't have the BT1.2 audio profile (i.e stereo music)?
Thanks!

Bluetooth system 5

Hi, Sorry for the delay in responding it works very well, the battery life of the helmet has not been a problem although I have not used it on a full days touring todate.
The instructions are specific however and BMW says you must discharge and recharge 20 times before the full 6 hours + will be acheived, I guess you could do this in the house if you wanted to.
I have no problem with noise although I have a taller screen.
The TTrider overides communication with pillion as does the telephone .
I have been asked the question about the stereo before and I checked ,and have been assured it is stereo, ready for the unit bmw is going to launch for ipods etc.
The other nice touch is by using a pama viscount hands hands free blutooth
kit I can use the TTRider in the car without an earpiece.

Cheers

System 5, TTRider and Mobile Phone

Swinglow,
I have a System5 Helmet and TTRider. They work together just fine. :)
But I have problems with my Motorola V600 mobile. I can hear the ring tone of incoming calls but when I accept the call I can sometimes hear the caller and sometimes not, but they can never hear me. :(
Any ideas?
Thanks

Bandina, I just recently bought a TTR and the only disappointing aspect is the lack of volume on the voice instructions at anything over say 30mph. How is the volume when paired with the BMW Bluetooth helmet please?

Thanks,

John
