System 5 headset fitment

Anyone have any experience of fitting an Intaride/Autocom/Starcom headset to a System 5 lid please?

Have tried the lid for size, happy with that and the deal that Prestige will do for me, the only thing holding me back is the nuts and bolts of fitting my headset.

I've looked at the Autocom site instructions but they dont appear to be that detailed.

Any assistance would be greatly appreciated.

I've fitted a Starcom headset in my System 5. Very straightforward to do. The only thing that caused problems was their recommendation that you used the stick on mike rather than the boom one. Getting the wiring routed to allow sufficient for the front to flip up was a pain and I ended up fitting the boom mike into the gap between the removeable cheek piece and the fixed lining and then bending it forward. It works well.

You'll find velcro'd openings in the ear cavities for the speakers to slip into and if you take off the neck collar, you'll find a lot of space at the rear of the helmet where you can route any excess cable.
I assume this space is where the BM bluetooth rechargeable battery and box goes.
