System 6 evo

Anybody have a white system 6 evo with bad paint. Mine is only a few months old and there are like black dots all showing threw the paint. Seems to be getting worse. Pretty sure I would have noticed this if it had been there when I purchased

That looks like contamination under the paint - and if it's oil (as it might well be) then it's likely to have an effect on the performance of the shell!

If you can definitely say it is not something that has splashed your helmet since you got it (nasty getting your helmet splashed when you don't expect it) - I'd get it back to BMW sharpish. If it's contamination look out for a recall of the batch!

Never a good question to ask, but.....what do use to clean your helmet?

I have noticed some discolouration on mine as well, not as bad as yours, but that may be down to the colour (I have the subtle flouro one)

Helmet has never even been used enough to need cleaned. Not impressed at all. Anyone suggest the best colour to have? I have had always shoei helmets for years with no issues at all. Would I be better to have a neotec

What does supplying dealer say? 2 year warranty.

Dealer exchange under the 2 year warranty, unless of course you bought it somewhere suspect. Dealers are pretty good on this sort of thing, changed my Streetgaurd trousers when they decided to turn brown, 23 months old and bought in the sale.

Dont think there should be any problems of any kind on your crash helmet Insist on a replacement or refund. Hoping to buy one of these next month.Will watch this thread with interest.

Thats good service from BMW. I would be confident to buy with that warranty in place.

Dealer replaced helmet. No issues. Unheard of fault. Time will tell if replacement is better.
