System cases on a 1200GS

Hi all, I've got some BMW system panniers for my R1150R, I'm just trying to work out if they'll fit a 1200GS?

If not, I'll have to ebay them and get some givis unless I find something else going cheap (Nothing about at the mo). I want aluminium cases one day, but the budget won't stretch yet!

The mountings for 1200 Vario cases are completely different to what you have on your RS Jonny and incompatible.

Soft luggage may do the job until you get the ally coffins sorted. Givi panniers look shite on a GS in my opinion

Do'h, thought as much, thanks for clearing that up. I've got some soft luggage which should do in the mean time. For now I'll just keep watching ebay! I managed to find a pair of standard 1200GS cases on there at the moment, but of course there's no point bidding if I haven't got the bike yet!

I've got a givi top box to go on already, and I can't fault the quality, but I know what you mean, they don't really suit the bike that well. Unless I get the absolute top ones, but at that price I might as well spend the extra on Zega's.
