If it solves a problem of screen and better lighting, go for it I say. Most people dont ride their GS off road so no pretence at doing that from this guy.

Some would say it improves the look as it looks more conventional ala Varadero V Strom etc.

Anyways, although it looks ugly for tar-only touring it could be very practical fairing indeed. The headlights probably work 5X better than OEM, too.

Wouldn't want to have it myself, but it's well executed at least, and I like the fact that people do this sort of stuff

Good lighting, better protection and an updated look, I quite like it. The colour probably doesn't help the look.
