Just surfaced, sulkily from under the new bike.

Not only does the Touratech Bashplate (That fastens to your centre stand) not fit the modified 2006 model 1200, but the "Intermediate Bash Plate" that protects your exhaust & Gearbox (and forms a full length bash plate with the centre stand one) doesn't fit either.

Seems the new design of the centre stand has caught TT out. :nono
There are 2 x springs on the O/S now which catch on the plate and also prevent the TT plate "Rear Hanger" being fitted.

I do hope they hake them back :bow :bow :bow :bow

No need to :bow on this one, the changes made to the stand on the 2006 model should have been picked up by Touratech, so as long s you specified the modle year your able to get a full refund under the sale of goods act.

Can't imagine you having to quote it though :D

Yeah, I know - fit for the puropse etc but it's a sticky wicket this one as my dealer ordered all my TT bits for me and they're a great bunch of guys so I wouldn't like to start the riot act with them as "They should have thought & checked with TT about the suitability etc etc I noticed the centre stand problem in the showroom as I collected my bike and the dealer knocked it off the bill.

Told TT about the centre stand plate and they hadn't got a clue that it had changed! Never thought that the other one wouldn't fit so I'll try TT in the morning.

I think when you order the set for the 1200 Adventure it will fit... The regular 1200 GS has the same changes the new Adventure has... centerstand straight instead of curved and mounted about an inch forward.
Maybe you could ask them this tomorrow to be sure.
