Word of warning based on experience. Taller screens often don't really work. All they do is put the turbulence somewhere else, usually back to a different part of your upper head, shoulders !
That is, unless you go for a VERY tall/wide screen such as an Aeroflow or a big/big Cee Baileys.
Going smaller is often the key to cutting our noise and turbulence as Mr Greg Masters often points out.
Quietest and least turbulent ride is with an MRA 2-piece screen WITHOUT the top half + a set of Tobinators. Set the MRA to an angle parallel to the silver faceplate and set the Tobinators to low/low settings. Then sit back for the quietest ride you'll ever have had on a GS. The secret lies in the flat/flush topside of the lower half MRA which flattens out the airflow rush plus the Tobinators that kill off the pressure bubble. The only downside is that you''ll end up keeping your visor down more as you do collect a few more bugs. But the peace and quiet is amazing.
For winter riding, the big screens are better. Anything intermediate is a compromise which depends on a range of factors including your size, the strength and directionality of the wind, and your helmet geometry and attenuation characteristics.
The danger with my "MRA/Tobin" formula is that it changes the character of the GS towards that of a powered-up dirt bike for the road, and you'll find you ride it faster and more aggressively.
Good luck .
